Jim started his career in financial services in 2014, serving the Metro-Detroit area. In 2018, Jim relocated to Cadillac to join Connect Financial and has obtained the RFC® (Registered Financial Consultant) designation. Jim is a firm believer in the behavioral finance model of investing. Many traditional financial models assume individuals always make pure rational financial decisions based on logic and with no emotion involved. Jim understands that this is rarely the case with investors and works to educate clients on multi-decade market and economic history.
As a member of the Rotary Club of Cadillac and a board member of the Cadillac Area Young Professionals group, Jim is very active within the local community.
In his free time, Jim enjoys many of the activities Northern Michigan has to offer, including: kayaking, boating, golf, and downhill skiing.
In June of 2022, Jim and his wife, McKenzie, celebrated their first wedding anniversary. Just a couple of weeks later, in July, Jim and McKenzie were also blessed with the birth of their daughter, Maria.
